Summary / Review of Records has three categories namely:
1. Medical Record Review (For Doctors)
2. Medico-Legal Review (For Lawyers)
3. Utilization Review (For Insurance Companies)
Summary / Review of Records are prepared by trained members of our staff. We currently have experienced people who exclusively review summary of records. The summaries are used by physicians who want to save time organizing medical records they need to review; by insurance companies who want concise medical summaries of claims in order to set reserves and as a guide to settlement; and by attorneys who want a clear description of medical services provided to a client.
Our clients determine the extent of detail they want provided in the summaries. The summaries include: hospital admissions and discharges; results of diagnostic testing; examination findings; opinions of medical experts relating to causation, disability and appointment; and deposition testimony of the patient.
Summary / Review of Records are provided to us in their original condition and we can scan them and upload them to our facility or they can be sent directly to us in an electronic format. Our usual turnaround time is generally less than 5 working days.
